Welcome to the website for Alvaston & Boulton. We have been playing Crown Green Bowls at Boulton Lane in Alvaston, Derby for over 50 years now.
Bowls is a game that can be enjoyed by anyone of any age, and our membership ranges from 80-odd years down to 18months! All standards are welcome to join as we have teams playing at many levels.
We have nine teams in the South Derbyshire Crown Green Bowls Leagues (three Mens teams, two Ladies teams,Two mens senior teams and two teams in the Floodlit League).We also run two mens teams in the Saturday Burton League.
You may fancy sitting in the sun on a warm summer's day, sipping a cup of tea or quaffing down a cool pint, whilst waiting for your turn to do battle against opponents from all over Derbyshire. Or you may just fancy socialising and want to make new friends, we have quite a full social calendar, and numerous club competitions.
